Hayden View Triathlon

Wow it has been awhile. I have been busy training for a Sprint Triathlon. It is a goal I wanted to do for 2 years when I went and supported my younger sister Sarah the 1st year Hayden Idaho did a Sprint Triathlon. This last weekend I accomplished it. I finished in 1hr. 44min. I feel very blessed to do it. I am grateful to all who supported me. Most of all my family. My husband and kids. Now the only problem is I am hooked. I want to train for the CDA Triathlon. Maybe even try the Windermere Half marathon next year.

Run...  I can see the finish line.  I am glad and feeling tired. I can see my family sisters and mom. How wonderful to share this accomplishment with them.

Personal Goal

Back in May 2009 I started a life style change. I talked with my doctor and questioned my weight. I was only eating 1500 cal. working out hard and not eating after 5 in the evening. To no luck I wasn't getting any smaller. I went on the You Food plan. I loved it. I lost weight nicely. I started having problem with chest pain. A problem that started when I was pregnant with my fourth child. I found out I had gallbladder problems. This started a few surgery's and a week stay in the hospital and 3 different hospitals. But now I feel great and still losing weight. I feel like a new women. This is the pants I wore in May and now Sarah my little sister and I wear them together. Wahoo!!!!! I laugh now people say wow you are losing weight instead of the are you losing weight I can see it in your face. I guess I had a really fat face......

All the fall leaves and cold weather brought the Indians to our church. Jacob earned his Arrow of Light award in cub scouts. I am so proud of his hard work. I know he is well on his way to earning all the badges and becoming an eagle scout like his dad and uncles. What a neat program. If you ever have the opportunity to see a Arrow of Light award ceremony you should go. You will not regret it.

Jake and I are proud of the example Jacob is setting in scouting. We all have a "new face" the Indians called it. Jake received extra paint because he is a bald eagle in training. Which had to do with his hair line. ha ha

Grandpa Wallace is a bald eagle. He had to be in good spirits to allow someone to paint his face. Can you believe it? He is smiling! What a great and proud grandpa. We had to get a picture of the fun we had at the Arrow of Light ceremony. Grandma Wallace received beads of jade for peace of mind.

Are we all ready for school? Had to get a picture of the the kids. It is hard being a younger sister or brother and not be in 1st day of school pictures.

1st Day of school. What a day, lots of tears lots of

smiles. This year Jessica is in the 4th grade. She will have her 1st male teacher. She loves school and enjoys her teacher.

Thomas is in 2nd grade. He has the same teacher Jessica had for 2nd; so we know her really well. His back pack is almost as big as him.




















Jacob is in middle school. I think I was more nervous then he was. He went like a lamb to slaughter. (At least I felt) He loves it. One thing he hates is the bad language. This has been a great learning opportunity for Jake and I on being a good example and being in the world and not of the world.

Life is just running by. I need to stop sometime and smell the flowers. Thomas had a birthday. I can't believe he is seven. Next year he will be baptized. I am in the primary and going to all the baptisms in my ward, it has been really nice to remember the wonderful promise we make with the Lord and the wonderful promises the Lord promises us.
